Kakishibu Painted Belt

Kakishibu is made by fermenting the juice from the persimmon fruit. The dye has a long history in Japan. - Japanese cowhide leather (4 cm wide) - Hand painted with a specially made kakishibu paint- Japan made solid brass buckle - Hand stitched - Custom Sizing/Note desired length in checkout *Please measure your belt size based on the illustration in the photos. Do not include the buckle when considering size. Any length is possible but please email if longer than 39 inches. *Kakishibu is a natural paint. Tones and variations will occur from belt to belt.
